3. What handicap do I need to play at Los Arqueros?

4. Do we need to take towels?

Bath and hand towels are provided, you will need to take Beach/Pool towels.

5. Do we need to take a hairdryer?

No, there is a hairdryer in the apartments for your use.

6. Do we need to take an iron?

No, there is an iron and ironing board stored in the Utility Room.

7. Does the apartment get a mid-week clean?

Yes, there is a mid holiday clean and change of linen for 2 week stays.

8. Is there a stereo?

Yes, you may wish to take your own CD’s.

9. Is there Sky TV?

Yes.

10. Are there lots of Restaurants near by?

Yes, there is a Restaurant at the Club House. You are close to San Pedro, Puerto Banus and Benahavis - reputedly the Gastronomic Centre of the Costa Del Sol. If you do not wish to drive, there is a local English speaking Taxi Company (the telephone number is listed in the apartment). If you don’t wish to call a taxis yourself, the waiters at the Club House are usually happy to order you one.

11. What day is market day?

They are building a supermarket onsite this year. The nearest supermarket is 2 minutes in the car.

12. Where is the nearest Tourist Information Center?

San Pedro Town Center.

13. Is there a dress code for the Golf Course?

Yes, the same as all other Golf Courses, Golfers usually wear Bermuda Shorts when playing. I have noticed that there does not seem to be a dress code for the Terrace Bar at the Club House.

14. Who do you usually book your hire car with?

We use a company called CarJet, you can book online at www.CarJet.com, they are based at Malaga Airport and seem to be the most reasonably priced.

15. How easy is it to go over to Africa?

Very, you can purchase ticket from the ticket booth on the (N340) just past Estepona. We found the best trip was the guided tour, you can arrange this at the booth, you take a ferry 35 minute crossing from Algericas. You are then taken on guided tour to Tetuan (I think), you are guided around a Kasbah and Medina, which is fascinating and provided with a typical Moroccan lunch. You then drive to Tangiers, where you are taken on a guide tour. Then back to the ferry, a very tiring but fantastic day. (Don’t forget your passport!).

16. Is there a Supermarket on site?

No, they are building a small supermarket within the next year, the nearest supermarket is in San Pedro, approximately 2 miles away.

17. Is there a BBQ?

Yes, there is a BBQ in El Lago but not in La Finca as this is a second floor apartment.
